Halloween Party, 2013

To evoke an elementary-school like feeling, I used bat paper cut-outs, and Elmer’s glue and glitter for the basis of these invitations. As I was making a lot of invites, the back typography is printed onto large sticky address labels for easier assembly.

Invites were sent in orange horizontal legal sized envelopes ( from Paper Source) with the opening on the short end instead of the long end. A black bat was stamped across the opening once the invite was sealed.
Some bats were also used as decorations for the party.
In the “art” of party throwing, I share with you an epic Halloween Graveyard Cake I made for this affair.
