After living and working abroad in New Zealand for 5 years, you can imagine I missed the place. My last three years were spent in Wellington, which I very much enjoyed. My first trip back was 1.5 years after I left. It was specifically for the world premier of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. To this day, it is the best holiday I’ve ever had, and worth every cent of my shoestring travel budget.

I used a blank Hobbit journal (made as part of the merchandising of the film) for my travel book. As I wrote I left room for photos and had them printed and put in during the trip. This is just a sample of the full book.
